(Urban intervention/performance)
Moving the Weeds Around
Diane Borsato
Halifax, 2005
Description:
For this community urban intervention, more than 20 volunteers including myself, dug up weeds from neighbourhoods across Halifax. We traded and mixed up the weeds, and then re-planted them randomly all over the city.
The object was to try to create a gesture that was entirely futile.
