Snowballs Diane Borsato

Description:
I was invited to create an installation or kit in a box and mail it to an exhibition and auction in Paris. I "pickled" a dozen fresh snowballs and the necessary tools and instructions for their reconstitution in France. The piece was made during the suburban Paris riots of 2006. The instructions included the suggestion to throw the Canadian snowballs at people, children, animals and property - thus initiating a transcontinental snowball fight.
