Rolling on the Lawn at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA)
Diane Borsato
Montreal, 1999-2000

Description:
I was living near the Canadian Centre for Architecture and walked by it everyday. I was trying to think of new ways to engage myself with the city, and coming home from work one fall afternoon, I decided to roll across the entire length of the famous green lawn – instead of just walking by. The lawn seemed to me to be a provocative space, between the museum and the sidewalk. I repeated the action in every season for the following year.

Exhibition History:
The work was performed on the lawn of the Canadian Centre for Architecture in 1999-2000 in Montreal.
